We performed Straight and Narrow last year with our theatre group in Sheffield. It was the first full length play that I've ever acted and I was given the role of Bob. It was a sheer joy to do. I learnt loads and will never forget it. I just wanted to pay my respects and express my sorrow at his loss, sincere warm wishes, and my gratitude at having the honour of bringing one of Jimmie's characters to life.
